Lamb Of God Vocalist Randy Blythe Arrested On Manslaughter Charge

Death metal screamer Randy Blythe – frontman and vocalist of Lamb of God – has been arrested and charged with manslaughter, according to reports.

The band, who are famous for their intensely hardcore metal tracks, were forced to cancel a show in Prague’s Rock Café yesterday because their main man had been taken away by police - for what is believed to be a charge of manslaughter. The charges relate to an incident in Prague’s Abaton venue back in 2010 – the band’s first show in the city – which saw a fan left dead following an altercation between himself and Blythe.

“Today at 11:00 pm we received a message from management Lamb of God, that today's scheduled performance in Prague in the club Rock Café is cancelled,” Prague Police spokeswoman Kropáčová Eve explained. “The specific reasons we have yet no news. We have arrested singer which was accused of a crime of bodily harm in the 4th paragraph, thus resulting in death.”

A spokesperson for the band, however, has said that Blythe was ‘wrongly accused’, and that ‘lawyers are dealing with it, and we expect him to be fully exonerated.’
