Barclaycard Mercury Prize Relaunches Recommendation Website

The Barclaycard Mercury Prize has relaunched its music recommendation website, ‘Barclaycard Mercury Prize Recommends’, with a range of new features including: embedded content, social media connectivity and a new tablet friendly design.

The refreshed site, www.mercuryprize.com/recommends, will highlight some of the hottest albums, videos, tracks and live music currently available – providing users with tips on exciting new music from around the world. It will cover both established and up-and-coming acts and showcase 'must see' digital content - bringing together some of the best music to be found online.

As well as keeping users up to date with what’s happening in music, the site now allows visitors to share articles across social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Google+. A new navigation system also gives users a much more engaging and interactive experience – particularly on a smart phone or tablet.

Dan Ford from the Barclaycard Mercury Prize says: "“The relaunch of Barclaycard Mercury Prize Recommends is part of our ongoing commitment to deliver music fans an even more engaging and interactive experience. We're hoping that the introduction of these new features will ensure the site remains a key resource for those who want to keep up with what's going on in music, whether they are at home, at work or on the move.”"
