Noel Gallagher Mocks Liam's Olympics Closing Ceremony Performance

Superstar rocker Noel Gallagher has taken yet another dig at his brother this week - this time mocking the ex-Oasis star’s Olympics closing ceremony performance.
Liam, now developing a career with his new band Beady Eye, performed ‘Wonderwall’ at the ceremony, alongside his new bandmates. But, ‘Wonderwall’. one of Oasis’ biggest hits, was actually penned by his arch enemy Noel - who recently dedicated his own performance of the track to ‘Stratford’s finest Oasis tribute band’.
Performing in support of charity War Child, Noel played an intimate gig in Camden’s Dingwalls last night, and played out many Oasis songs that he hasn’t had the chance to play since taking the world by storm with his latest project the High Flying Birds - such as 'Don't Look Back in Anger', ‘Talk Tonight', 'Whatever', and 'Half the World Away'.
But, when he decided to put on his own performance of ‘Wonderwall’, he made the sly dig to his brother’s ‘Oasis tribute band’, echoing recent comments where he claimed he doesn’t mind if Liam performs Oasis tracks that he penned - as he ‘gets paid every time they do’.
Noel wasn’t in an insulting mood all night, though, and dedicated ‘Supersonic’ to Olympic hero Mo Farah - who picked up gold in the 5,000m and 10,000m at London 2012.
