The 1975 Stream Closing EP Track 'You' - Listen Now

Fresh from the success of their debut EP “Facedown” earlier this year, The 1975’s bring their fans a much darker and more ambitious EP than their EP “Sex” which is set to release on the 19th November. The band have also leaked their EP’s closing track, “You”, which is set in a power ballad form and has fans anticipating its release.
The EP’s title track is an electronic-esque alternative rock piece layered with grungy guitars, industrial instruments and compelling vocals, while closing track “You” has taken its influence from 90s shoegazing, the closing track mixes guitar effects and indistinguishable vocal melodies to creating a chilling atmosphere.
Set to hit the studio once more through November, The 1975’s debut album will be co-produced by the band and award-winning Mike Crossey, producer of names such as Arctic Monkeys and Foals. The two ambitious EP’s the band will be able to carry by the end of this year will act as full-length promises to the racket they are creating in the music industry this year. Already favourites at Radio 1, XFM, Kerrang, NME and Q the band are set to exceed the success of their previous debut which reached Number 2 on the iTunes alternative album chart.
The band will be touring in December, kicking off their list of shows in Leeds, Cockpit 3 on December 2nd, check below for tickets and tour dates.
