Carly Connor Announces Free Download And Winter Scottish Dates

Since being signed on the spot by Atlantic Records it has been a busy time for Easterhouse born and raised Carly Connor. She has toured extensively in the UK and Europe, playing shows with Paolo Nutini (performing to 10000 fans at Estadio Municipal in Milan), The View and Alabama Shakes as well as being selected by Claude Nobs to play alongside Chaka Chan at the 2011 Montreaux Jazz Festival. She stunned fans and critics alike with a debut performance at the 2011 Rockness festival and played to a packed King Tuts tent at 2012 T In The Park.

Carly has always sung, and from humble beginnings she managed to find her voice and has developed it into an emotion packed, powerful tool. She has put it to work this year and has been in the studio recording songs for her debut album with a stellar list of producers including Ben H Allen, Kid Harpoon, Angelo Petraglia and Daniel Ledinsky. The first of these tracks to be released is the Phil Spector inspired 'Last Love' which will be a free download, available from 12th November. The song showcases her incredible voice and perfectly captures her maturity as a song writer as she implores “You could be my last love, just say the word and it is over.”

Carly Connor will be on tour in Scotland in November and her debut album is scheduled for release in early 2013.
