Elvis Costello and The Imposters have been announced as the sixth and final headline act to appear in Thetford Forest as part of Forest Live, organised by the Forestry Commission.
Regarded as one of the most important singer-songwriters to surface from the punk/New Wave era, Elvis Costello has generated a songbook of classic material including: ‘Alison’, ‘Watching The Detectives’, ‘Pump It Up’, ‘Oliver’s Army’, ‘I Can’t Stand Up (For Falling Down)’, ‘Accidents Will Happen’, ‘Pills And Soap’ and ‘Veronica’ as well as his timeless cover of ‘Good Year For The Roses’.
Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission, bringing music to new audiences without commercial branding or sponsorship. Income generated from ticket sales is spent on improving the local forests for both people and wildlife.
