Jay-Z Reportedly Looking To Buy £2million Island

American rapper Jay-Z has become a superstar in the last 10 years, but although he’s probably one of the richest in the game, he likes to keep his feet on the ground and stay real - he even took the subway to a gig in New York recently.

But, everyone needs a holiday now and then, and what better place to take a break than on your own personal island in the Bahamas?!

We can’t think of anywhere we’d rather be right now, and it looks as though Jay-Z agrees, as he’s reportedly looking at purchasing a £2million island in the North Abaco - meaning he could join the likes of mega-rich businessman Richard Branson on the list of those lucky enough to have their own personal resort.

A source told The Sun: “Jay’s been looking for a private island for the family. He wants to turn it into his own Necker Island like Richard Branson. He’s getting it partly to mark their fifth wedding anniversary but also, with Bey back in the spotlight, it’s getting impossible for them to do normal things such as go to the beach with Blue. A private island means they’ll be able to have quality time with minimum staff and security.”
