Beady Eye Reveal New Single 'Second Bite Of The Apple' - Listen Now

Tuesday, 30 April 2013 Written by Jon Stickler

Today, Beady Eye announce the release of ‘Second Bite of The Apple’, the first single from their new album ‘BE’. The track will be made available for download from today, April 30th, through Columbia Records.

'Second Bite of The Apple'’s’ off-kilter, spacey swagger exemplifies the evolution in the band’s sound and Dave Sitek’s influence on production. Building to an exhilarating, brass infused climax, the track is a bold statement of intent, announcing the band’s return in storming fashion.

The band’s series of three intimate shows in June to celebrate the release of ‘BE’ sold out in a matter of minutes after being announced. They will kick off proceedings at the Manchester Ritz on June 19th before heading to London to perform at theCamden Centre on June 20th. They will finish the run in Glasgow at the ABC on June 22nd.

One of the most anticipated albums of the year, ‘BE’ is set to be released on June 10th. The album is available to pre-order now from beadyeyemusic.com.

The band are set to perform at V Festival and T in the Park this summer with more announcements to follow shortly.
