South California’s female-fronted hard rock outfit In This Moment are to create their first ever live DVD, and they’ll be recording it at their up and coming gig in Madison, Wisconsin.
The band have partnered up with long time supporter radio station WJJO, as part of their Mayday Maylay concert series. The band has a bunch of surprises in store for this show - including rarely played songs from their back-catalogue and an all-new stage show created specifically for this concert.
Also performing that night are special guests Nonpoint and Gemini Syndrome. The concert is being directed by Brad Golowin who is known for his work with Miss May I and 10 Years to name a few, meaning the night is set to be an absolute spectacular - and if you can’t attend, you can always pick up the DVD when it hits shelves later this year!
Although UK fans may not be able to reach the event, all this work being ploughed into their live show can only mean that their gigs are going to reach new levels of awesomeness - and lucky for us, they’ve got a handful of UK shows coming up this summer! As well as a set at Download Festival, they’ll be playing in Belfast, Manchester, Glasgow, Bristol, and London (the Manchester and London gigs are supporting Danzig). Just in time for their upcoming European run, the group will release a relaunch of their album 'Blood', that will come as a 2CD for a fan-friendly price. CD2 of 'Blood (Re-Issue + Bonus)' will be out June 3rd, 2013 and has the following tracks added - ‘Closer’, a Sluggo remix of ‘Blood’, a Mr Kane remix of ‘Adrenalize’, a Nikka Bling remix of ‘Whore’, and the Mitch Marlow remix of ‘The Blood Legion’.
