30 Seconds To Mars More Than Just A Band, Says Frontman Jared Leto

30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto has claimed that the band is more than just a musical group, and considers to be more of an ‘art project’.
The American rock outfit release their fourth studio album ‘Love, Lust, Faith, and Dreams’ on May 20th, and look like they’re on the verge of announcing an autumn UK and Europe tour. But, although you may love them for their music and live shows, it looks like you could be seeing a lot more from the band in future - in the form of books, films, and documentaries!
Speaking to MTV, Leto explained:
“We've always thought about 30 Seconds To Mars not just as a band but an art project. A place where we would make music, we would make books, we would make art in general, short films, documentaries. I mean really the music is the glue that binds it all together but its certainly not just about the music, it's about community, it's about a life.”
So, this means 30 Seconds to Mars fans could soon be given a whole load of new stuff from the band, but first, they’ve got a new album and tour to take care of.
