Win A Special 12" Vinyl Edition Of Taffy's 'Lixiviate' Album (Competition)

Thursday, 27 June 2013 Written by Jon Stickler

On June 17 Japanese four-piece Taffy released their follow-up to last year’s acclaimed debut ‘Caramel Sunset’. Stereoboard has two 12" editions of the 'Lixiviate' album to giveaway in our brand new competition below.

Not shy of experimenting with their sound, ‘Lixiviate’ offers up Taffy's signature sound with heavy guitar riffs and playful vocals as heard on tracks such as Sweet Violet, Tumbling and Snowberry. The remorseful and progressively heavy Cure cover Boys Don’t Cry is reminiscent of early Teenage Fanclub.

Dotted throughout 'Lixiviate' are some of the best indie-rock tunes that you'll hear this year and there's little doubt that Taffy are charming, catchy and ready for big things. You can check out the rest of Stereoboard's recent review of 'Lixiviate' here, as well as an interview with the band here.

See below for details on how to get your hands on the charming 12" vinyl edition of the album (pictured).

This competition has now closed. Congratulations to Rachel Blackburn and Glenn Shaw!
