30 Seconds To Mars have come under scrutiny after asking their fans to get lyrics tattooed on their body as part of a project for a music video.
The band are currently constructing the video for Do or Die, and the had asked fans to have some of the songs’ lyrics tattooed onto their body and record a video clip of them saying ‘I am the Echelon’.
It appears the contest has been binned following a stream of comments on their website claiming it was an ‘irresponsible’ idea - with the video appeal now removed altogether.

“Its absolutely irresponsible and probably the worst thing Mars has ever done.”
