One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne have been penning tracks for the band’s next album in their free time, according to a recent interview.
The band hard at work on their next album ‘Where We Are’ - which is apparently set for a release later this year - and with the boys hoping to become more of a creative force behind their own music, they’ve all been doing some behind-the-scenes songwriting. Harry Styles, in particular, has been getting busy, working with both Gary Barlow and Snow Patrol’s Gary Lightbody.
Now, it seems Tomlinson and Payne are getting in on the action - they told The Sun in a recent interview:
“We wrote three songs on the last album but this is different. Liam and I have been spending our days off writing. It’ll be interesting to hear what people make of it but you’ll always get criticised.”
