UB40 have announced that they intend to resume live performances by the end of October. The announcement comes a week after the reggae outfit were forced to cancel four UK tour dates planned for September due to drummer Jimmy Brown suffering from RSI (repetitive strain injury) in his wrists.
The band’s management said: “Jimmy would like to thank all the UB40 fans who sent messages wishing him a speedy recovery. While his treatment continues, Jimmy is confidently looking forward to returning to the stage with UB40 at the end of October.”
As they continue to support the release of their new Top 30 album ‘Getting Over The Storm’, UB40 will now play live dates at Fort Regent, Jersey, on Saturday, October 26, followed by a date at Liverpool Cathedral on Saturday, November 23.
