Fleetwood Mac Snatch Top Spot On Stereoboard's Hot Ticket Chart

Friday, 20 September 2013 Written by Stereoboard.com

As their huge series of UK arena dates draws closer, Fleetwood Mac have clambered to the top of Stereoboard’s Hot Ticket Chart, shunting last week’s leader, Rod Stewart, into second position.

The giants of classic rock are gearing up to tackle some of the UK’s leading venues - with both booked in for dates at London’s O2 Arena - and are just ahead of Disney On Ice.

Arctic Monkeys are in at number four ahead of their highly-anticipated tour next month, just beating US soul star Bruno Mars, who has his own arena tour in the diary for October, and Pink Floyd star Roger Waters. At number seven are everyone’s favourite boyband, One Direction, who confirmed extra stadium dates this week, while Jessie J has bagged eighth spot.

Also crashing into the top 10 is one of last week’s new onsales, housewives’ favourite James Blunt, who’s just behind Kodaline in this week’s rankings, with the Irish alt-rockers also having announced a fresh batch of dates last week.

At number 11 are metalcore heroes Bring Me The Horizon, just ahead of a light entertainment double in the form of Lee Evans and Strictly Come Dancing. Number 14 belongs to US alt-rock types Imagine Dragons, while TV nostalgia fest The Big Reunion has secured spot 15.

The current stars of British dance music, Disclosure, have number 16 to themselves, with the 1975, fresh from their debut album hitting #1, beating out competition from Barry Gibb, Bastille and comedian Micky Flanagan.
