Ricky Gervais has apologised to fans after tickets for his David Brent live show sold out in under a minute.
The comedian has garnered an incredible response to his new musical venture with Brent, his character from hit TV show The Office, having seen his YouTube guitar tutorial series attract millions of views
He has now lined up gigs at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London, where he’ll play alongside his no longer fictional band Foregone Conclusion. But unfortunately for a lot of fans, tickets sold out in less than a minute, and Gervais has taken to Twitter to apologise to those who missed out.
Gervais/Brent is now working hard in rehearsals for the gigs, and is having a blast - check out what he had to say:
“Had the first rehearsals with the new improved “Forgone Conclusion” today. Bloody brilliant. Another bunch of nutters though. Luckily!”
