John Butler Trio To Make UK Return With Spring 2014 'Flesh & Blood Tour'

Known for their phenomenal live shows and never ending energy, Aussie roots band John Butler Trio have announced UK dates for their 2014 Flesh & Blood Tour.
The multi-platinum Australian powerhouse will release their new album 'Flesh & Blood', their first studio album in four years, on February 4 2014, marking the band’s debut on new label Vanguard Records.
Speaking about the new record, Butler said:
“We wanted the grooves to get deeper and thicker and as a songwriter I wanted the songs to be a lot more guttural and fleshier. I wanted to smell it and feel it a bit more. And my voice to be more convincing.”
'Flesh & Blood' is the band's sixth studio album and the long-awaited follow up to their acclaimed 2010 release 'April Uprising'. Check out the album's lead single Only One below.
The 2014 tour will introduce new band member, Grant Gerathy, who has taken over the drumming role from Nicky Bomba, who left the group to front his own Melbourne Ska Orchestra.
