Idlewild have revealed a series of low key shows for an October tour of the Scottish highlands and islands.
The new dates will be the first for Roddy Woomble and co since announcing a tour hiatus four years ago. The intimate shows will see the Scottish group "explore their back catalogue, to try out new songs and ideas, and to generally have some fun playing music around this beautiful part of Scotland.”
Idlewild released their last album 'Post Electric Blues' in 2009. Roddy announced via Twitter last month that the band's eighth studio album was on it’s way.
