Nate Mendel has revealed plans for the debut album of his solo project, Lieutenant.
The Foo Fighters and Sunny Day Real Estate bassist will release 'If I Kill This Thing We're All Going To Eat For a Week' on March 10 via Dine Alone Records.
The album features guest appearances by Chris Shiflett of Foo Fighters, Page Hamilton of Helmet and Jeremy Enigk of Sunny Day Real Estate, among others.
There is no official word as to what form the Lieutenant live band will take. Howevever, performances so far have included Jorma Vik of The Bronx, Paul “Pablo” Wilson from Snow Patrol and Christian Wargo of Fleet Foxes.

Mendel plays the UK with Foo Fighters this summer.
