The song, which you can listen to below, is lifted from the London four-piece's sophomore album, 'Mythologies', due October 30 through Wichita Recordings. Discussing it, the band’s Nathan Hewitt explained:
“The song started with a looping keyboard line that James brought in, and we built it up from there. The lyrics are made up of one long word, broken up into eight sections. Supraphysiological means having too much of a particular substance in the body – which is how this song makes me feel.”
Cheatahs will tour the UK next month, calling in Sheffield, Manchester, Edinburgh, Leeds and Brighton between November 17 and November 21. Tickets are on sale now, with prices starting from £6.00, plus fees.
