Red Hot Chili Peppers, The 1975 And Slaves Among First Acts Announced For Reading And Leeds 2016

Red Hot Chili Peppers, the 1975 and Slaves are among the first acts to be announced for next year's Reading and Leeds festivals.

Also heading to the twin site event are the Courteeners, Twenty One Pilots, Boy Better Know, Hinds, Rat Boy, Crossfaith and DJ EZ. Discussing headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers, festival organiser Melvin Benn said:

“I’m thrilled to be able to announce Red Hot Chili Peppers as the first headliner for Reading & Leeds 2016, as a festival exclusive. Their incredible live show will be an unforgettable headline performance at the UK's biggest music festival. We’ve still got some really exciting names to announce and I can’t wait to reveal the rest of the line up. It’s going to be our best year yet.”

Reading festival will again head to Richfield Avenue and Leeds festival to Bramham Park between August 26 and 28. Weekend tickets are on sale now, with prices starting from £205.00, plus fees.
