Catfish And The Bottlemen will release their sophomore album, 'The Ride', in May.
The follow up to 2014's 'The Balcony' is due out on May 27 through Island Records. Discussing it, frontman Van McCann said:
“I feel like everybody started thinking too outside the box trying to be arty and different. We wanted to stay inside the box. I always say if you can play it on an acoustic guitar and win over a bar or a kitchen even of rowdy people… then you’ve done it… that’s how I see song writing."

Catfish and the Bottlemen have a run of headline dates lined up for the coming months, as well a number of festival appearances including Liverpool Sound City, T In The Park, Manchester's Sounds Of The City, Bristol Summer Series, Truck Festival, Sheffield's Tramlines, Kendal Calling, Y Not Festival, Boardmasters and a show at Glyndwr University Racecourse Stadium supporting Stereophonics on July 2.
