Petula Clark Among Final Acts Announced For Fairport's Cropredy Convention

Petula Clark will make her first UK festival appearance at Fairport's Cropredy Convention.
Speaking about the appearance, Fairport Convention bassist and Cropredy co-organiser Dave Pegg said:
"We're really proud to be the first British festival that Petula has played. I saw her show in Birmingham recently and it blew me away – she is a wonderful live performer. I was surprised how many of her hits I knew and her contemporary songs are really great too. Our audience will love her, I'm sure."
Also joining the line up are the Trevor Horn Band, Richard Thompson, CC Smugglers and Quill. They will play alongside the Divine Comedy, Show of Hands, Feast of Fiddles, Pierce Brothers, Gigspanner, the Gerry Colvin Band, Dougie MacLean, Marillion, Cats In Space, Plainsong, Judy Dyble & the Band of Perfect Strangers, Morris On and Fairport Convention & Friends.
Fairport's Cropredy Convention will return to the Oxfordshire village between August 10 and 12. Tickets will be available from February 1. Head here for the full line up.
