Pete Doherty is definitely no stranger to controversy, this time shocking a TV crew by squirting a syringe of his own blood at a camera during an interview in Germany.
The Babyshambles singer, who is currently on tour in Europe, outraged the MTV crew and his own bandmates decided to call an halt to the interview.
Doherty had originally refused to participate in the interview but turned up half way through and took aim at the expensive camera equipment then quipping, "That was a wicked shot, that's going to make a cracking link that is".
Babyshambles band mate Drew McConnell was so disgusted by the singers ridiculous antics that he apologised to the interviewer before storming off, saying: "I think the interview is over my friend. I'm really sorry about that mate."
The crew were then left to clean and sterilise thousands of pounds worth of equipment.
Amazingly though, Doherty returned after the incident to perform a song for the cameras.
Doherty stirred controversy last month when he was involved in tabloid newspaper pictures apparently showing him injecting smack into an unconsious woman. Doherty later explained the incident as taking blood from the woman as work for his blood paintings "hobby". NOTE FROM THE EDITOR We don't run any advertising!
