New Prince EP 'Deliverance' To Be Released This Week, Title Track Shared

Wednesday, 19 April 2017 Written by Laura Johnson

A new Prince EP is due to be released this week.

'Deliverance' will arrive digitally on April 21 via Rogue Music Alliance to mark the first anniversary of the funk icon's death.

The record will contain six previously unreleased songs which were recorded between 2006 to 2008. The title track is available now via Apple Music, though it is restricted to US residents due to licensing laws. Head here for more information.

UPDATE 20/04: The release of the 'Deliverance' EP has been thrown into doubt due to a legal challenge from Prince's estate, as detailed in statements released to Rolling Stone. TMZ, meanwhile, reports that the release has been pulled from streaming services as a result of the action.
