Pins Share 'Bad Thing' Short Film

Friday, 07 July 2017 Written by Laura Johnson

Pins have shared a short film to accompany their recently released EP 'Bad Thing'.

The film, which was created by Sarah Jenny Johnson and Olivier Richomme, is made up of five videos for each track on the record. It also features a guest performance by actress Alice Barry. In a statement, the band said:

“In many ways the video is an ode to Manchester, from filming on the eerie surrounding moors to partying in a former public toilet, Temple Bar, with Shameless' own Alice Barrie! We filmed in a few of our favourite venues and bars in Manchester and we just got to have some drinks and listen to music whilst the filming went on. We also filmed on the moors as we wanted some contrast and calm to the chaotic scenes of the night before. The snow was perfect, and so was the pastel sunset.”

Richomme also commented:

“It's been such a treat to get to be involved in this ambitious project, so many people came to help us and it wouldn't have been possible without their support. It feels like we all created this film together and the creative process was really instinctive and natural. We were privileged to get Alice Barry involved and she was such a dream to work with.”

Pins will play a Fluffer Pit Party later this month. They also have a number of festival appearances in the diary for the summer, including Secret Garden Party, Reading and Leeds and Festival Number 6.
