Hope & Glory Festival Organisers Release Statement About Cancellation

Monday, 07 August 2017 Written by Laura Johnson

The organisers of Hope & Glory festival have released a statement regarding the cancellation of the final day of last weekend's event.

Following a series of problems on the first day of the festival, including late running times and overcrowding, forcing long queues for facilities, the second was pulled.

Since the announcement there have been complaints online from those in attendance and numerous requests for refunds. The new statement advises: "All ticket purchasers should consult the company they purchased their tickets from for advice on this."

Following the cancellation of the event Liverpool venues came forward to host acts from the line up including E.B.G.B.S, who had Charlotte Church play, and Zanzibar, who put on Clean Cut Kid.
