Nina Nesbitt Unveils Video For The Best You Had

Wednesday, 20 September 2017 Written by Laura Johnson

Nina Nesbitt has unveiled the video for her latest single, The Best You Had.

The song is the second, following The Moments I'm Missing, to be lifted from the London-based singer-songwriter's forthcoming sophomore LP.

Speaking about the video, she said:

"The Best You Had is a song that portrays the complicated feelings you have about an ex moving on. The fear that the new person is better than you. Smarter. Prettier. That they could possibly love them more than they loved you. When I read the treatment from Osiko Films I instantly felt like they got it and could make the story come to life. We wanted to create a world where the exes were only a wall apart, both staring through it, imagining what the other one would be doing. I really wanted it to show how love can make us go crazy when all we have is our imagination. It shows how easy it is to get confused between your actual feelings and your ego."

Nesbitt will play three UK shows in November. Tickets are on sale now.

Nina Nesbitt Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Mon November 20 2017 - LONDON Garage
Tue November 21 2017 - MANCHESTER Sound Control
Wed November 22 2017 - GLASGOW Art School Glasgow

Robyn - Honey (Album Review)
Mon 29 Oct 2018
There is a method of mastering in dance music production - pioneered by Daft Punk - that involves increasing sidebar compression on the kick drum. The result is that the whole track throbs around the kick, and seems more aggressive, powerful and tight. It’s particularly effective for radio play, where things are engineered into a state of razor-like sharpness to be heard over rush hour traffic.
