Watain will release a new 7" single, Nuclear Alchemy, on Halloween.
The track will feature on the Swedish black metallers' upcoming, as-yet-untitled follow up to 2013's 'The Wild Hunt', which is set to arrive on January 5 through Century Media. Speaking about the track, the band said:
"Nuclear Alchemy is the sound of an eager beast let loose from its cage at last. A song of violent fire, impending doom and of necks cracking in ecstacy.
"A dissolving injection of power and force into the coagulated veins of black metal and a first glimpse into the abyss that shall be opened in the beginning of 2018. Meanwhile, stand by for conflagration."
The single, which will be available on black and red vinyl and limited to 1000 copies each, is backed by a cover of Hugarian band Tormentor's Beyond.
The band will accompany the release with a short European tour in January, including a date at the Dome in Tufnell Park, London.
