Tom Waits To Release Remastered Albums From Anti- Back Catalogue

Thursday, 26 October 2017 Written by Helen Payne

Tom Waits has announced the release of newly remastered albums.

Throughout November and December, each of the records originally released on Anti- Records will have a complete re-issue.

The first to arrive will be Grammy-nominated 'Bad As Me' on November 10, followed swiftly by 'Real Gone', 'Blood Money', and 'Alice' on November 24, 'Glitter and Doom Live' on December 1, 'Mule Variations' on December 15, and the three discs that make up 'Orphans: Brawlers, Bawlers and Bastards' individually in early 2018. Each re-release will be available on vinyl, CD, and of course digitally.

Speaking about the remastering, Waits said:

"This restoration project could arrogantly be compared to restoring a faded tapestry, a painstaking process that requires meticulous attention to each colour faded thread.  Spending months on something completed once, many years ago was necessary though cursedly laborious for us."
