Avenged Sevenfold Announced As Second Download Headliner

Avenged Sevenfold are the second headliner to be confirmed for next year's Download.
The metallers, who are set to release a deluxe version of their 'The Stage' album next month, will top the bill on the Friday, while Ozzy Osbourne will close proceedings on the Sunday night. In a statement, the band said:
“We are more than honoured to be a part of this legendary show and line up. Being asked to headline Download for the second time is a career highlight. We would like to thank our UK A7X family.”
The festival will return to Donington Park in Derby between June 8 and 10. Tickets are on sale now.
