Peggy Sue Share New Single Slow Fade, Announce December London Show

Peggy Sue have shared a new single and announced a London show.
Slow Fade is the first to be lifted from their forthcoming fifth album, which is due out next year. The follow up to 2014's 'Choir Of Echoes' sees the duo, Katy Young and Rosa Slade, joined by Dan Blackett on drums and Benjamin Gregory on bass.
Speaking about the song, Young said:
"Heartbreak takes ages. That's kind of the best and the worst thing about it. I was pretty heartbroken and trying all these tactics to make it finish faster; going out, staying in, talking about it, not talking about. But at some point I realised that when I was ok again, it would be because the love was done. And so Slow Fade is about letting it take its time - partly because you don't really have a choice and partly because a bit of me wanted to make that pretty sadness last as long as I could."
Alongside the track, the band have confirmed a show at the Shacklewell Arms on December 2. Tickets are on sale now, priced at £10.00 plus fees.
