It is the second, following Count It Up, to be shared from their forthcoming album, 'Open Here', which is set to arrive on February 2 and follow up 'Commontime'.
Discussing the track, Peter Brewis said:
"With some things that have been happening personally to us recently, and obviously the things happening in the wider world, there’s a kind of defiance in playfulness, and that’s what we were trying to capture with this song. It isn’t escapism, but it’s an attempt to confront those things with a deliberate sense of fun."
The brothers will support the record's release with three shows in Newcastle, two evening and one matinee, on February 2 and 3. They will perform with strings, horns, woodwind and assorted percussion provided by the Open Here Orchestra.
The same set up will be used for the closing date of their spring UK tour, which will take place at the Barbican in London on March 25.
