Oscar Jerome has unveiled a new single.
Smile On A Screen is the second cut from his upcoming EP, 'Where Are Your Branches?', which is due on January 26. The track finds the Londoner working alongside spoken word poet James Massiah and percussionist Moses Boyd. Jerome said:
“This tune has grown through being played live. It took a while to find its identity when recorded but with a mash-up of mine, Maxwell Owin and Wu-Lu’s production skills it finally found a life of its own.”
The EP will be followed by an appearance at the Gilles Peterson Worldwide Awards at KOKO in London next week and a headline date at Corsica Studios on January 31.
