Parquet Courts will release their fifth album this spring.
'Wake Up!', which was produced by Danger Mouse, will arrive on May 18 through Rough Trade Records. Speaking about it, the band's Andrew Savage said:
“The ethos behind every Parquet Courts record is that there needs to be change for the better, and the best way to tackle that is to step out of one’s comfort zone. I personally liked the fact that I was writing a record that indebted to punk and funk, and Brian’s a pop producer who’s made some very polished records. I liked that it didn’t make sense."
Head below to check out the record's first single, Almost Had To Start A Fight / In and Out if Patience, and tracklist.
'Wake Up!' tracklist:

The band will support the new album with a North American and European tour, the latter of which includes a set at Latitude Festival in July.
