Liz Phair Announces 'Girly-Sound To Guyville' 25th Anniversary Box Set

Liz Phair will celebrate 25 years of 'Exile in Guyville' with an extensive box set.
'Girly-Sound To Guyville' will include the original album remastered by Emily Lazar, and Phair's early releases under the name Girly Sound restored from their original tapes: the 'Yo Yo Buddy Yup Yup Word To Ya Mutha' double LP, 'Girls! Girls! Girls!' double LP and 'Sooty', a single LP. Cassette replicas are also available.
The box set will also include an extensive book featuring an oral history by Jason Cohen, plus essays by Liz Phair and journalist Ann Powers. The vinyl version of the book also contains never before published photos, unseen artwork, and ephemera.

Phair will support the release with a US tour in June, for the first time only performing songs from the 'Girly-Sound' Tapes.
