Tim Burgess Announces New LP Featuring Members Of Primal Scream, My Bloody Valentine And More

Wednesday, 11 April 2018 Written by Laura Johnson

Tim Burgess has announced a new album featuring contributions from members of the Horrors, Primal Scream, My Bloody Valentine, and Ladyhawke.

'As I Was Now' was recorded in 2008 by James Spencer at Big Mushroom in Cheshire and will be released initially as a Record Store Day LP on April 21, with a general release set to follow on May 14.

Speaking about the album, Burgess said:

“We were complaining about how boring things were between Christmas and New Year, so we got together to record some songs. Some songs were more complete than others, others appear on this record more finished than others.”
