Tim Burgess is a British indie rock singer-songwriter from Northwich, Cheshire.
Starting his musical career in 1989 as a member of the Electric Crayons, he later joined the Charlatans and went on to release 13 albums with them, including ‘Some Friendly’ in 1990, which hit #1 in the UK Albums Chart, as did their self-titled album, released in 1995 and their latest album ‘Different Days’ in 2017. He released his debut solo album, ‘I Believe’, in September 2003, which was followed by ‘Oh No I Love You’ in 2012. In 2016 he was announced as an ambassador for Independent Venue Week, and, ever prolific, went on to drop 2018's 'As I Was Now'. Tim Burgess has rescheduled his run of intimate UK shows to April 2021 in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
