The Wonder Stuff are an English alternative rock band from Stourbridge, West Midlands, consisting of Miles Hunt, Mark McCarthy, Erica Nockalls, Tony Arthy and Dan Donnelly.

Formed in 1986, the band released their debut album, ‘The Eight Legged Groove Machine’, in 1998, which reached #18 in the UK Albums Chart. Their second album, ‘Hub’, came out in 1989 and performed even better, peaking at #5. ‘Never Loved Elvis’, was released in 1991 and gave the band their highest placement at #3. It was followed by ‘Construction for the Modern Idiot’, which was released in 1993, and also reached the Top Five. The band disbanded in 1994, but returned in 2000, releasing the album, ‘Escape from Rubbish Island’ in 2004, ‘Suspended By Stars’ in 2006, and ‘Oh No It's...The Wonder Stuff’ in 2012. The band’s latest album, ‘30 Goes Around the Sun’, was released in March 2016.

The Wonder Stuff headed out on their 30th anniversary tour in March 2016, with a special appearance from The Wedding Present, and tour support from The Lottery Winners.

After touring With Love From Stourbridge with Ned’s Atomic Dustbin in 2018, The Wonder Stuff have now revealed tour dates in Cardiff and Southampton for May 2019. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and ticket information on Stereoboard below.
