Red Lion Square is the folk-punk singer-songwriter's first new material since the release of 'Baby, I'm A Runaway' in 2016. Speaking about it, he said:
“I was having a bit of a rough time and I was feeling like I could do with having a bit of a pep talk from my dad. He’s been gone from the mortal world for 10 years now, so that’s not really an option, but I wrote this song as a bit of a catch up with him. I go back to Stamford, my hometown, when I need to level out and get my head straight, and Red Lion Square is in the heart of the town."
Lynch will return to the UK later this month for Frank Turner's Lost Evenings festival at London’s Roundhouse and sets at Slam Dunk.
