The Wave Pictures have shared a 360 degree video for The Burnt Match.
It is the latest track to be lifted from their new album, 'Brushes With Happiness', which is due for release on June 22. The video's footage, meanwhile, was filmed during the recording of the LP.
It is one of two new records, the other being 'Look Inside Your Heart', which the band plan to put out this year. The second will arrive in October.
Speaking about the new song, guitarist and vocalist Dave Tattersall said:
“This one is the kind of song I would have tried to do many times in the past but wouldn’t have really pulled it off before, because I would have over-thought it. As Neil Young says ‘’the more you think, the more you stink!!’’ But we just improvised these songs on the fly, on the spur of the moment. So you can hear them come together with a lot more vitality than they would have done in the past. Everything about the music business is designed to make you second-guess yourself constantly, and this is part of the reason why all the music they have now is a load of rubbish. You have to fight against that every day. Everybody has an opinion. They look at you and tell you ‘’if you do this and this and this you could be Radiohead’’. I’d rather die.”
