The Smashing Pumpkins will bring the Shiny And Oh So Bright Tour to the UK and Europe later this year.

They will call at the SSE Arena Wembley on October 16, following which they have lined up a show at the Unipol Arena in Bologna, Italy on October 18. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on June 22.

The recently reformed legendary alt-rock band released a new single last week. Solara is the first recording in more than 18 years to feature founding members Billy Corgan, James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin, with longtime guitarist for the band Jeff Schroeder, bassist Jack Bates and keyboardist Katie Cole completing the line up. The track was recorded at Shangri La Studios in Malibu with producer Rick Rubin.

The last Smashing Pumpkins release was 2014's 'Monuments to an Elegy', while the last to feature this line up was 2000's 'Machina/The Machines of God'.

The Shiny And Oh So Bright Tour coincides with the 30th anniversary of their formation and will also see the band play dates across North America throughout July, August and September. Head here for further details.

The Smashing Pumpkins Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Tue October 16 2018 - LONDON SSE Arena Wembley
Thu October 18 2018 - BOLOGNA Unipol Arena

Muse - Simulation Theory (Album Review)
Tue 20 Nov 2018
Photo: Jeff Forney ‘Simulation Theory’ is confusing. Why is such an objectively bad album so enjoyable? The tale of the tape for Muse’s eighth LP is that it’s a mash-up of genres delivered with a crushing sense of overkill on the production side of things. Die-hard fans of the band’s early work will go into it with truly dreadful expectations—after all, they haven’t released a good album in years.
