Alkaline Trio Announce New Album 'Is This Thing Cursed?'

Alkaline Trio have announced their new album.
‘Is This Thing Cursed’ is the band’s ninth LP and will land on August 31 through Epitaph. Head below to stream the punk veterans’ new single, Blackbird.
In a press release, bassist Dan Andriano describes the album as a “cousin or sibling” to their 2000 release ‘Maybe I’ll Catch Fire’.
“The songwriting process is almost like what it was back in the day,” he said. “We would just kind of write a song, be excited about it, then move on. We wrote in that spirit in the studio. I really feel like we made a record that the old school fans are going to dig.”
