Nina Nesbitt has released her new single, Loyal To Me.
The track is a straight up pop smash, stepping up the pace from the easy-going tone of previous releases Somebody Special and Pyschopath. "If he never wants you to meet his friends, if he ain't tagging you on the 'gram, take your heart and turn around while you still can," she sings.
In a statement, Nesbitt said:
“Loyal To Me is influenced by the independent-women spirit of the 90s and is a self-help guide to dating. It’s a list of symptoms you need to look out for when you fear you may be dating someone who doesn’t have the best intentions.”
The singer-songwriter has festival sets lined up at RiZE in Chelmsford and the Skyline Series in Bristol and Birmingham later this month. She will also play a headline show at Omeara in London on September 26 as part of the Get Loud for Nordoff Robbins charity gig series.
Later in the year Nesbitt will support Lewis Capaldi on his UK and Ireland tour. Head here for dates.
