Petrol Girls Share Video For Empowering New Track Sister

Petrol Girls have shared a video for their new track, Sister.
In true Petrol Girls style it is unapologetically outspoken and ferociously heavy, though there are moments where they stray from their usual brutal path to allow vocalist Ren Aldridge a few moments of fragile harmony before numerous voices chime in for the chorus.
From the opening lines of the song its message is clear. "We will decode this world together, we will write our existence in, because the planet will not survive in the hands of toxic men. They try to divide us, to consolidate their gains, 'cos sisterhood's a threat to status, wealth, competition," states Aldridge.
The video was created from submissions requested by the band via social media, while the track will appear on the band's new EP, 'The Future Is Dark', which is due out on September 14 through Hassle Records.
The band will embark on a European tour this autumn, prior to which they will appear at Reading and Leeds festival in late August. They will also perform at Loud Women Fest in the Tufnell Park Dome, London on September 15 and on November 14 will support Propagandhi at Brixton Electric in London.
