The track is the latest to be lifted from their sophomore album, 'Joy As An Act Of Resistance', which is due out on August 31. It follows up 2017's 'Brutalism'.
The song is described as a "pro-immigration black comedy" and its intentions are clear from vocalist Joe Talbot's opening line: "Blighty wants his country back." With its rolling bass, frantic guitars and singalong chorus it'll be ringing in your ears for long after the record stops spinning.
The video, meanwhile, was directed by Theo Watkins and sees Talbot and the band occupying some traditionally British haunts, including a butcher shop, laundrette, working men's club, football ground and greasy spoon cafe.
Talbot said:
“Let us go forward with open minds and open hearts into that fuck off fire we've started. No blame, no hate. Just love and a blue passport.”
The Bristol post-punks will support the new record with their first world tour this autumn, which includes their biggest headline London show to date at the O2 Forum on October 18.
