God Complex Uncover The Dark Nature Of Humanity In Breeding Filth Video

Wednesday, 22 August 2018 Written by Jon Stickler

God Complex have released a dark video accompanying their latest single, Breeding Filth.

The video explores the horrors of modern humanity, with particular influence taken from a news article on the chemical weapons attack on the Syrian town of Khan Shaykhun in early 2017. Discussing it, guitarist Kyle Holt said:

"The video for Breeding Filth is a statement that goes hand in hand with the track's subject matter. It’s a commentary on the dark side of human nature and the evil that we are capable of. It’s also an invitation to those who are angry about the current state of the world to stop passively accepting what they see; to let out their anger."

The track serves as the first single from the gritty hardcore mob's forthcoming 'Created Sick' EP, which is due out via Venn Records on October 5. Loathe's Erik Bickerstaffe is handling production duties, with the EP following up previous singles from the band Hate Runs Through Me and Insignificant.

Catch the Merseyside band at London's Upsurge festival at the end of the month and at Venom Fest in Bristol in September, before they hit the road with label mates Rough Hands in October. Tickets are on sale now.
