Posthumous Charles Bradley Album 'Black Velvet' To Arrive In November

Thursday, 06 September 2018 Written by Laura Johnson

A posthumous Charles Bradley album will be released this autumn.

The soul vocalist died on September 23, 2017 aged 68 and this year would have celebrated his 70th birthday on November 5. His fourth and final record, 'Black Velvet', will arrive the same week, on November 9.

The album contains 10 studio recordings not previously included on any other album. Head below to watch the video for its first single, I Feel A Change. It follows the Screaming Eagle of Soul on the road and on stage, while the track shows exactly why he gave himself that title. His gravelly, lived-in voice resonates long after the record has stopped spinning.
