New Version Of 17 Days Shared From Posthumous Prince Album 'Piano & A Microphone 1983'

Friday, 07 September 2018 Written by Laura Johnson

A new version of Prince's 17 Days has been shared.

It will appear on the posthumous album 'Piano & A Microphone 1983', which is due for release on September 21. It includes "nine tracks and 35 minutes of Prince - solo with just a piano and a microphone."

The funk icon put out the original version of the song in 1984 as a b-side to one of his most successful singles, When Doves Cry.

Head below to listen to 17 Days and here for the record's previously shared cut, Mary Don't You Weep.

It’s music that feels like it was born in the ‘90s, but it also has a degree of currency - if not urgency.
Nao - Saturn (Album Review)
