Greta Van Fleet Share Epic New Track Watching Over

Monday, 10 September 2018 Written by Jon Stickler

Greta Van Fleet have shared a new song from their forthcoming debut album.

Watching Over draws on the rock quartet's love of classic soul and southern-rock to deliver an emotional anthem, which serves as the second single to be shared from 'Anthem Of The Peaceful Army', which is due out on October 19 through Virgin EMI/Lava Records. The band also recently unveiled a video for the album's lead track, When The Curtain Falls.

Collectively written by all four band members, 'Anthem Of The Peaceful Army' was produced by Marlon Young, Al Sutton and Herschel Boone and recorded earlier this year at Blackbird Studios in Nashville and Rustbelt Studios, Royal Oak in the band's homestate of Michigan.

Having played London's Electric Ballroom in May this year, the band will return to the UK for a series of dates, including two sold out shows at the Kentish Town O2 Forum this November.

Fri 26 Oct 2018

Once a band that disgorged Sabbathian doom metal splattered with gothic horror imagery, they have evolved into a rock spectacle that’s part pantomime, part musical and part Satanic disco.

Mon 08 Oct 2018
Photo: Gene Kirkland There’s something bittersweet about this excellent third album from Slash, Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators. ‘Living The Dream’ is bursting at the seams with old school, anthemic rock ‘n’ roll of the highest calibre, but at the same time it’s hard to shake the feeling that the person behind such exhilarating music and exceptional guitar work is the very last of a dying breed.
